Referrals for Our Residential Program

Our Residential Program accepts developmentally disadvantaged boys and girls aged 13 to 17 with any of the following disorders, behaviors or histories:

  • Adolescents in need of independent Living Skills
  • Multiple past placements
  • Attachment Disorders
  • Physical, sexual and emotional abuse
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • Personality Disorder
  • Depression, anxiety and stress disorders
  • Attention Deficit Disorder
  • Depression
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Children not appropriate for private foster care placement

Gift of Hope will not knowingly accept individuals who pose a health or behavioral threat to other residents, staff, the community or themselves.

Please call if you know of a child who is at risk and needs a safe and caring home environment.

Gift of Hope is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia under the Interdepartmental Regulation of Children's Residential Facilities. Our program is issued triennial certificates which are available on request.  Gift of Hope is Medicaid Approved.
